Ham,Cheese and Mushroom Omelette
Serves 1:
- Carbs: 6 grams

Ingredients:
- 100g mushrooms
- 4 tablespoons grated cheese
- 3 free range eggs
- 2 slices good quality ham
- 1 tablespoon butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Crack eggs into a mixing bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk the egg with a fork until smooth and frothy. Turn on the grill as you will be using it in step 4.
- Melt butter in a frying pan and set to a high heat. Once the butter has melted, pour in egg mixture.
- Finally chop the ham and mushrooms and when the omelette begins to cook and get firm on the bottom, add the chopped ham, mushrooms and grated cheese.
- Place the frying pan under the grill for 5 minutes to cook the top half of the omelette.
- Serve once the cheese has melted and omelette looks fluffy.
