Vanilla Pecans
Serves 10:
- Carbs: 1 gram
- Fats : 14 grams
- Protein: 1 gram
- Prep time: 5 minutes
- Cooking time: 10-12 minutes
Ingredients:
- 250 grams of pecans
- 10 grams Xylitol
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 60 grams of butter
Directions:
- Line a baking tray with grese proof paper and preheat oven to 180 C/350 F
- Melt the butter on a low heat and stir the xylitol, cinnamon and vanilla into the melted butter, add the pecans and mix well
- Spread pecans on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes, ensuring they do not burn
- Allow to cool and fully harden before placing in an air tight container
