Spiced Almonds
Serves 10:
- Carbs: 1 gram
- Fats : 8 grams
- Protein: 4 grams

Ingredients:
- 150 grams of almonds
- 1 medium egg
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- ½ teaspoon xylitol
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 160 C/320 F
- Whisk egg whites in a bowl until frothy
- Mix almonds in egg mixture until fully coated and allow to sit for 5 minutes
- Mix the spices and sweetener and add to egg mix, mix the spice mix with almonds thoroughly
- Grease baking tray and spread almond mix evenly on it.
- Bake almonds for 10 minutes, turning almonds over after 5 minutes.
- Allow almonds to dry out fully before storing in a sealed jar for up to 2 weeks.
